Building & Earth Sciences, Inc., Breaks Ground
on New, Larger Huntsville Office
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (February 26, 2025) – Building & Earth Sciences, Inc., a leading professional services firm and provider of geotechnical engineering, environmental consulting, construction materials testing, and special inspections is excited to announce the groundbreaking of its new Huntsville office building. A Groundbreaking Ceremony will take place on March 5, from 2-4 p.m. at the new location, 226 Bailes St NW, Huntsville, AL 35805, and is open to the public and friends of Building & Earth.
This new office expansion marks a significant milestone for the Huntsville branch, which was opened in 2006 and expanded from four to over 30 employees. Srdj Boskovic, P.E., began his career there and is now a Principal of the firm. “We are thrilled to grow even deeper roots in Huntsville and working hard to keep up with its growth”, says Boskovic, who has overseen rampant growth in the Huntsville office since his start with the company, and is currently the Regional Vice President for Building & Earth operations in North Alabama, Tennessee, and Kentucky.
Under the leadership of Branch Manager Kevin Edmondson, P.E., the Huntsville office continues to serve its clients and the community in North Alabama. “We are proud to support the economic expansion of the city and work with our area’s top leaders,” Edmondson says. Huntsville’s rise as a top-ranked city – recently named among the top 10 places to live by U.S. News & World Report and now the largest city in Alabama – has helped to fuel this expansion. The city’s commitment to growth initiatives that power innovative business and government projects aligns perfectly with Building & Earth’s own trajectory.The new 8,000-square-foot facility will power this shared mission of expansion. It will feature six private offices, an ample open-plan shared workspace, two large conference rooms, a reception area, and significantly expanded Corps of Engineer validated laboratory testing facility. This expanded lab will allow for continued investment equipment, further enhancing Building & Earth’s capabilities. It’s all part of a larger mission to Be the Benchmark for Professional Services firms.
