Living & Working in
Nashville, Tennessee

If you’re a music fan, you already know how much this city has to offer in the way of musical history, concert venues, and prospects for up-and-coming music greats. And in recent years, the city has become a land of opportunity for music genres beyond country music, as recording studios and producers of all kinds set up shop in the aptly dubbed “Music City.”

Nashville is home to some legendary music venues, such as the Grand Ole Opry House, the Ryman Auditorium, and a number of honky-tonks and concert halls that have hosted performers for decades. The Country Music Hall of Fame is also located here—and for good reason.

While many visitors come for the music and the nightlife, the city is an exemplary one in its own right. The capital of Tennessee is home to a number of universities, Belmont University with a widely renowned music and theater program as well as Vanderbilt University, consistently ranked among the top universities in the nation.

Sports lovers flock to the Tennessee Titans games and can take in some action on the ice at the Nashville Predators hockey games. History buffs can explore sites like the stunning Parthenon replica or explore Civil War battlefields. With options ranging from trendy farm-to-table restaurants to classic Southern comfort food, foodies will have their pick of cuisine (including hot chicken, of course!). The city boasts an exciting entertainment in neighborhoods like The Gulch and East Nashville. Right outside of the city, you’ll find The Jack Daniel Distillery, the oldest registered distillery in the United States. For outdoor enthusiasts, there are miles of greenways for biking and hiking, along with scenic kayaking on the Cumberland River. In Nashville, there truly is something for everyone.
