Provided geotechnical and construction materials testing for a $1B, 4.4 Million Sqft office complex with 44 LEED Silver rated multi-story office buildings and 100,000 Sqft of retail space located on a 400+acre site. Building & Earth’s approach to the subsurface investigation allowed the structural engineer to recommend large shallow foundations rather than the typical deep pile foundation recommendation which led to significant cost savings for the first three buildings.
