What Dallas-Fort Worth Has to Offer

At Building & Earth, we are always focused on growth, and the DFW metro area is ripe with opportunity for it. According to recent United States Census Bureau data, the DFW metro area is the fastest growing city in the U.S. and is expected to hold the top spot for the next few years. In a study from commercial real estate services company Cushman & Wakefield, the firm reported the metro area gained 1,349,378 new residents from 2010 to 2019 and will take on another estimated 1,393,623 residents in the next 10 years.

All of that growth spurs the need for infrastructure improvements and more residential space, and we’re excited to play a role in the process. The DFW is a great place to live and work—it’s consistently held a place in the top 25 of the U.S. News and World Report’s Best Places to Live list. The metro area offers a little taste of everything: a big city with a small-town feel and all the charm Texas has to offer.

Whether you’re thinking about a move to the area or you’re just visiting, make sure to check out a few of the city’s classic attractions while you’re there. Sports are important to DFW natives—and you have your pick of who you want to support. The Dallas Cowboys, the Texas Rangers and the Dallas Mavericks all call DFW home. If you’re looking for an experience that’s all Texas, head to the Fort Worth area. The city, also known as Cowtown, holds true to its roots. Cowboys abound, and you can find weekly rodeos at the Stockyards, an annual Fort Worth Stock Show, and quite a few clubs offering a dance floor where you can learn the two-step.
