Military

Our nation’s focus on providing the best possible facilities for our military, along with their dependents, is driving an unprecedented wave of new construction. The MilCon transformation and force re-organization via the BRAC (Base Realignment and Closure) process have led to a need for rapid delivery of projects in support of each branch of the military.

Building & Earth has been actively involved in answering the call for expedient QC and QA services by the US Army Corps of Engineers, NAVFAC and AFCESA for projects on major bases throughout the Southeast and Midwest United States. Our work includes barracks, training ranges, command and operation headquarters, base family housing, dining facilities, tactical equipment maintenance facilities, hospitals and medical-dental clinics, and schools and childcare development facilities.

Many of our firm’s personnel have been previously screened for security badges to enable quick access to bases and we provide geotechnical engineering, materials testing and Special Inspections services for these projects backed by US Army Corps of Engineers-validated testing laboratories in close proximity to the major military bases in the Southeast and Midwest.
